Trick out your favorite photos. Be cool! |
Whatsapp, one of the world's most popular IM apps has a feature
that could start becoming annoying for some users. Whatsapp saves any picture that you receive automatically to your camera roll. On some devices the pictures are saved in their own album, which doesn't make any problem. However, on other devices such as the iPhone, the pictures are saved in the camera roll alongside other pictures.
This could be extremely frustrating if you receive a lot of pictures over whatsapp that you only want to view once, but it ends up flooding your camera roll. Whatsapp made it easy to disable this feature. The process is really simple and it should be similarly done on any device with Whatsapp. Read on for a step-by-step guide.
1.Open Whatsapp
2.Tap on "Settings" in the bottom bar
3.Tap on "Chat Settings"
4.Toggle "Save Incoming Media" so that it's off
Now the next time you receive an image from Whatsapp it will not be saved automatically. You can however save it manually if you please.
